Uniform Resale Store Sale – February 6th – 3 to 6 pm

Students and parents may turn in clean and gently used (stain-free, no missing buttons, zippers working, etc.) uniforms which they have outgrown or no longer need for consignment to Hillcrest’s Uniform Resale Store, which benefits the One Spirit One Sound Band; these items are then sold to patrons at a discounted price. If you wish to turn in uniforms for consignment to the Uniform Resale Store, complete the required form at http://hcswebwonders.org/wordpress1/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/Uniform-Resale-Store-Guidelines.pdf before you bring your items to the high school office. If you are donating uniform items, this paperwork is not necessary.

Giving Tuesday

Today is Giving Tuesday, “a global day of giving fueled by the power of social media and collaboration.
Celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving (in the U.S.) and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday, #GivingTuesday kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving.”  Last year over 700,000 people joined the movement and raised 116,000,000 dollars online; as word spreads and the movement grows, no doubt gifts to worthy organizations will grow as well.

The best way to get involved is to give within your own community, whether with some of your time or with a monetary gift.  Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to our school, so that Hillcrest may continue our increasingly important mission: reaching students for Christ, emphasizing academic excellence, and incorporating Christ-like values in all extracurricular activities.  If you’d like to do so online, please click the Annual Fund picture in the sidebar below, and thank you for your consideration!
